I hunt there every year.

You have to stay with a Tourist outfitter. Most fishing places will take you. Usually 25 to 35 a night. If you have a tent or camper 15 a night.

You can hunt half of 7 B , 6 and zone 8 without a guide.

rugged terrain. You need two weeks if you are going without scouting ahead of time.

Not much snow here and it has been very mild, just this week we have dropped into the -20's ( C ) Its looking to be another good year for the deer population.
Take care

I hunted it 2 years ago and enjoyed the hunt. Known for really big bucks. Not sure about bear. My friend who has gone up several times just returned from 2 weeks and they didn't do well. I think they were hunting north of Kenora possibly the Minaki area. He said the wolves were everywhere and deer sign was down from previous years.
