water proofing your camo will act as a scent supressor!
I've been thinking of this for a couple of weeks now (Alot Of Time On My Hands).
Was just wondering if the silicone spray we purchase to touch up our tents will do this. I think I'll give it a try when I can I can't hunt so I might just as well experiment<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
The scent Lock is too expensive for me to justify buying THERE has to be other alternatives!

I will not waste my money on scentlock.I am careful to keep contaminants off my hunting clothes and keep the wind in my face, and don't worry about game smelling me.

have used the spray on some of my hunting clothes just to protect me from the rain or the snow while walking in the bush. Never thought about a scent lock, have shot deer when wearing it so it might work
