Anyone know why the extra seals cost as much as the first one? The COs are all being taken out of the field this year due to budget cuts. They will be following up on tips only, so we aren't paying alot for their truck gas. The deer population is exploding to the detriment of both cars and, in my area, moose. As usual the MNR is responding too little, too late to a wildlife management problem. Throw an extra tag or two in for $10 each and I'll pay for one. I have to shoo the deer off my front lawn so I can target practice! In my opinion, moose are a precious and limited resource which is being allowed to dwindle. Our neighbours in Minnesota, an hours drive southwest of us, get one moose tag in their LIFETIME. We are heading that way very quickly here in Ontario.
Just a short rant...

Well, I talked to guys from the local MNR office and the goverment isn't giving them any money. The guys at the main office are being told that if they need money (like gas for CO's) they have to raise it through licenses. The Bio's wanted to have cheap anterless tags (like for $10 so we could cut the deer numbers down), but they need to make all the money they can to keep it running. This includes keeping the offices open, the CO's in the fields, etc.
