It's been slow so far. The high winds and rain on Monday meant I didn't hear a shot in the area. Tuesday the winds came from the south, they're supposed to come from the west, the east or the north. Heard 3 shots all day. Of course the local who took his huge pitbull through the field for a walk didn't help matters. I think I need to find a different hobby.
On second thought I'll try again Friday.

Took a ride up to see my buddies hunting 92 last night, 1 group of 4 had 3 does and 1 tag left with a buck patterned that should have been taken this am. Another group of 9 had nothing and wouldnt open theyre tags to the group of 4. I think they are going to pull an O for again this year!

Sat on my stands for the first time last weekend in a raging snowstorm. Called in a nice 8 pt buck to about 35 yds but not close enough for a novice bowhunter like me! I didn't spook him though so I'll be out again this weekend for another try. Up here in NW Ont just seeing a buck is exciting as they are pretty scarce.
