Is anyone deer hunting next week?
After all the waiting bow season is finally opening next week. I think this is the best time of the year; the temperatures aren't too cool or too warm, the deer are still moving naturally during daylight to feed on apples etc., and the days are nice and long.

lazyarcher; You must have a very understanding wife and boss to take off for almost a month of hunting. Good luck on both hunts. I hope you've got plenty of freezer space.

Ill be going to the island to hunt from the 5th-8th, more of a scouting and final prep trip for the gun season. But if big boy shows, I may have to let an arrow fly! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Got my stands up now but probably won't get serious until November. I have a Bull tag to fill in 13 first. Going to try bowhunting for deer this year for the first time. I like it a bit cooler, it still seems like summer here now. My hunting property still looks like a jungle!
