Nikon Monarch vs Monarch 3, what is the difference, I don't see anything on line. Thanks

The binocular or rifle scope?
The Monarch 3 is the latest generation. I believe the original Monarch has been discontinued. Looking at a 4-16x42s for example, technical specs, size, and weight between the original and new are very close.
