need to know what highth mount I needto put sweet .17 scope on ruger model 77 all weather 22 mag tasco mounted now but can't remove bolt for hitting the bell,has low mounts now

Assuming it's the 3-12 x 40 or 6-18 x 40, you most likely will need medium rings. They also have a 4.5-14 x 44 super mag that would definitely need mediums.

high dollar mounts,need to be right the first tome, gun came with low mounts
