Default Will Swimming goggle antifog work?

So I went to a few stores in my area and could not find antifog for my scope and binoculars. The only thing I found was Speedo brand antifog solution for $14. The directions say to apply to plastic and I would obviously be applying it to glass. Will this affect my optics or is it safe to use? If it's not safe, any recommended brands I can get online? Thanks, dude

I've heard to NOT use RainX as it might damage coatings. I use Parkers Perfect... works ok.

I would take bugsNbows advice on this. He stays up to date on optics issues. I have read the same thing about Rain X possibly damaging coatings or seals, but I have never tried it or known anyone else that has.

Rain x is petroleum based and I would not recommend it for scopes. I also heard it can ruin the anti reflective coating and make the glass glare. I almost tried it but I used it on my regular glasses and it did make them very reflective. I am gonna get some ek scope dope and try that.
