Review: Bushnell Expedition HD binos
#1
My youngest son (14) started hunting/sitting by himself last year so that meant he'd need his own binos and I was hesitant about him continuing to use my binos this season. (Zeiss Cquest 15x45 & 8x20B micros & Steiner Bighorns 9x40). So lastweek I went to my local Gndr Mtn to get him a "decent" pair that would last him awhile, perform acceptably while costing around $100ish. I ended up with the Bushnell Expedition HD 10x42, the salesman knocked off $50 which made them $150, I added a bino harness system to them & headed for the doors. (Other than demos, they were out of the Redfield & Nikon Prostaff5 pair I initially was interested in.)
For the $$$ these are great lil binos & should last my son for awhile, they are pretty rugged as well. Lifetime warranty (+ Bnell will buy them back if you aren't happy) & waterproof. They aren't quite a stellar as my binos but they aren't priced as such so wth. If you are looking for a decent pair of glasses for $150-$200 then give these a look thru, they are considerably better than the cheapest/baseline Bnells!
