keep in mind the bears best form of protection is there sense of smell. Are you in a tree?

They say honey burn is very effective where you make a small fire w/ honey that smokes. I wouldn't know myself, or rotten fish will bring them in from miles away, wouldn't know myself,:)

Take a look at our selection of scopes here Rifle Scopes, have you looked at Vortex at all??

Vortex are good scopes even the lower end crossfire 2. Some Vortex scopes come w/ a less than I like eye relief in the 3.5 range like some of the Diamond back scopes. The crossfire 2 come w/ 4" and the Viper's. You get into the Viper line of scopes bring your wallet. Thanks for asking.

Sighted it in almost 2 weeks ago and it seems to be just fine. The optics are pretty clear. For the price of it you can't beat the Fullfield.
