Default Difference between these scopes?

I'm interested in purchasing a budget scope for my .223 model 70 lightweight. After some time researching I think the leupold VX-I is my best option. I found one on cabelas for $230 the
3x9x40, one on GanderMountain for that same price which is listed at "leupols VX-I&Trade" and another on Gander Mountain for only $190. I was wondering what is the difference between the two priced at $230 and the one priced at $190. also if anyone thinks there is a better scope out there for the money please let me know. Thanks

Can't go wrong with Leupold at all , it was the first scope I ever owned on my very first Rifle which was an Old 700 BDL . The difference in price means nothing , get that good Leupold and start getting some good shots in . Enjoy .

I got a leupold vx1 about 3 months ago and love it. It is te clearest scope I have owned. You need to check bass pro too because I saw it on sale for $179 a few weeks back.

leupold is the way to go. I bought my last one from cableas but there are many palces to buy off the internet and price will vary. I put the 3x9x40 vx1 on my 7mm mag and it works great.

If I was looking at a Leupy, I'd not settle for anything less than a VX2. IMO, the 1's are crappy.

Look around for a Bushnell 4200 Elite. Should be able to get one for about $220 and it should be a better scope.
