Anyone ever send some Bino's in for a repair? I crack a cup and it needs to be sent in.

Default I sent a pair in a few weeks ago

Not sure what model you have ?
I have the Nikon Monarch binochs .
They come with a 25 year warranty .
I sent them in because they would fog up , had fine scratches on the lences and also a cracked eye cup extention .
I sent a copy of the original reciept , warranty card with serial number , a breif desription of the problem and the binoculars .
They came back with new eye cup extentions but were never cleaned or buffed .
I called Nikon , they sent me a call tag for shipping , so I sent them back with another letter of the issues .
Abought a week later I recieved a brand new pair .
Mine have the 25 year NO Fault warranty and were just 3 years old .
I have no complaints ...

Mine are the Monarch, too. Cracked eye cup. Did you go to the Nikon page and just print out the form to fill in? Mine are 3 years old.

Default I called them first .

They told me to send in a copy of my receipt , a copy of the warranty paper with the serial # listed and the binoculars .
Also a brief desription of the problem .
You pay shipping to them and they pay return shipping .

a few years ago the strap holder on my Monarch binocs broke . Sent to Nikon they replaced binocs with a newer version (mine were about ten years old) brighter glass and attached lense covers. No questions asked!! I was impressed.

Got the Bino's back Friday. I didnt send the reciept or warrenty paper. I filled in the paper on their web site. Kind of like a work order. They went ahead and replaced both cup and cleaned them all up for me no questions asked. Can't beat that
