Default Talley Lightweight mounts?

Thinking about going with talley lightweight 1 piece rings/base mounts for the new weatherby ultralightweight rifle on it's way.

I like the idea that they're all one piece.

I like that they're lighter but it'll only mean a few ounces, so really unless there is a strong reason not to go with them I think I'm going to.

Otherwise my 2nd choice would be probably leupold rings/bases.

The riflewon't be a kicker,.243 Win., putting a zeiss conquest on top.

I just got my talley and put them on my new Weatherby this morning and I can say that they look great and are well built. Will shoot this weekend and see how they stand up.

I had those Talley's on a lightweight Kimber 84 in .308. They were great...absolutely zero issues. I'll take Talley's any day. Good choice my friend.

I'm very pleased with them on my Remington 700.

ordered my talley's today! 1 piece lightweight, low mounts 1" for the weatherby - .243Win. Hope they're not too low? for eye comfort/monte carlo stock....the scope will certainly mount up fine according to the specs.

I put medium on mounts on my Weatherby and a 40mm scope and there is plenty of room between the scope and barrel for me to have gone with lows.

I have to agree, this is my 2nd product from them. Nice to see stuff built the way it should be, not just stamped out...

I wish rifles were built this way, I guess some are but you have to pay for that kind of quality.
