anyone have any expirence with nitrex scopes? opinions?

I believe they are an ATK (which recently purchased Weaver from Meade) product. Weaver used to be great but, as of late, not real impressive IMO. Rumor has it the Nitrex scopes are pretty good, and are likely to get better under this ownership group.

I just bought the Rifle mag (yesturday) had a review on Nitrex 10x42 binos.
Its a product of Japan (not China)
They are a new offering from Federal Premium Ammunition.

From what I am reading from this mag, for the price the are an outstanding value.
Personally I don't have any idea on how good they are.
I never new this brand existed before you started this thread.

Jeff is correct... but I think ATK also owns Federal so we're both correct........I think.

You're right ATK owns them both...along w/ speer, estate, ramline, the list goes on and on...

I was thinking of trying the binos out... read some good reviews.
