RE: flip to side scope mount
 

my dad has a redfield with flip mounts. he hasn't had a problem with them at all. he has had the gun for years and years and basically abuses it when hunting. i'd guess that the mounts was made by redfield, but can't confirm that. i do agree that they are only good for close range.
