Default Who is the IBO President?

I read something on here,I dont quite understand it. Ken Watkins said that (ej) is now the ibo president. Is this true? Did Ken resign? Who is ej? How did he or she get the job? Is Ken going to shoot 3d now? Can someone help me out with some information on this subject?

Yes it is true. At the spring meeting of the BOD, ej (aka Gene Bihler) was voted into the position of president. I don't think Ken will disappear into the shadows any time soon. We just needed to find new ways to abuse him.

I believe Ken has been moved to the position of CEO. Evidently this is a new position. I'm sure that someone in the know will have more information for release at a later date.

Gene Bihler is the new President.
Steve Dickover is Vice President/ Liason
Mike Shepard is 2nd Vice President
Mike Stitt is Secretary/ Treasurer.

The Board put me in a position that has existed since Dave Woodard was President. I am not real fond of the title and we will not mention what it was. I personnally like Maintainence Technician.
They will address that later.
We needed to make these changes. With all that is coming up it was neccessary to add someone to help with the responsibilities. We are spending more and more time doing different things to help and infuence our future.
Our involvement in the NASP program has been so much fun that it could'nt be a responsibility but it is critically important for our kids and grandchildrens participation in our heritage. We have to do more.
We have taken the Trad America Program into IBO. That is goint to be taking time.
This program is spreading the fun of traditional archery to the troops starting in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is now gaining interest in many more areas around the world.

Then there is the political spectrum. With the changes in the anti-hunting/ animal rights extremists agendas that have surfaced in the past several months we must get our own organization and forces organized to take this fight to them. You may have seen some of the articles and pieces of information about this. IBO must take part and help lead this fight for our very existence as bowhunters.

I think that you will appreciate ej's leadership for the IBO. He is a good hearted and fair guy. But also be aware that he can say no a little more forcefully than I can.( his nickname supplied by some of his frinds in Gem City Outdoorsmen is not too true)
He runs a good shoot and knows how to establish a program.
I wish him all the best in his new position and look forward to working with him.
