Default Custom Arrows For The Particular Shooter

One of the sure fire ways to ensure that arrows are identical is to fletch them on the same jig - I was thinking of starting a web based business to build the "ultimate" arrow where the customer would specify the shafts and vanes then I would "blueprint" them by ensuring they were fletched identically, weighed within 2 (or less) grains of each other, and had the foc calculated and confirmed (balanced). The shaft ends would be squared using a proprietary tool. In addition, an adder could be done where the customer could specify the tolerance (straightness) they would accept then arrows would be hand checked and only those that met that tolerance would be fletched.

Anybody think there is a market for this?? Obviously, this service would be expensive - thought about $50 per dozen on top of components.

most pro shops will do it for 15 bucks or less. i think most people that serious about their arrows actually build them theirselves.

If my customers want custom arrows all they have to do is ask. Sometimes the special nocks or fletches cost more, but there is never a charge for custom arrows.
