I try to keep and open mind and not get caught up in the whole ( you gotta shoot this bow to win) way of thinking that some bow companys try to promote. I have shot my higest scores with a Q2XL but I could have shot those scores with any quality bow that fit me. I herd that mathews was comming out with a 38in LX. So I waited to see it. Boy was I dissapointed, they dont offer anything around 38in. They have the 42in apex and thats ok if you are 6ft 5in tall but if you are 5ft 11in tall a 38in bow seems to feel better. The other problem I have with the apex is that its suggested price is $1,250. Are they nuts ? What did they do to that bow to make it worth that much money? When I saw the new mathews line my choice was made. I chose to GET SERIOUS I bought a HOYT ULTRATEC.
