Default Payout for HC class

Judy,
Is the IBO or Parma archery for that matter going to pay any money to the HC class. I didn't think the HC class recieved any money except for the Outdoor world but I got paid back at Wetumpka. Just curious. If so how are they divying up the money? Thanks in advance
Patrick.

Question answered. I got a check today. I forgot that the you guys had to go to Georgia and probably didn't have time to answer. Sorry. Just so some know since there was a post about payout for all classes. I was 18th in the HC class and got a check for $29.86. I would also like to see an amount for everyone.

I got 2nd in the senior class at world indoors. I got a check today for $83.33. Considering a $45.00 entry fee, I would say this is a poor return on your investment.

Pasenior, I would have to agree with you. I placed 2nd in the FHC and received $61.33 Your class was more than double the class I shot in and I also feel ripped off. I would like to see how much was paid out total for each class and how is was broken down.

The payout doesn't sound that bad for the number of shooters at Indoor World. Something I think everyone is not thinking about is the cost to put a shoot on.
The club has to buy all of the targets I just placed an order and they are not cheap.
And I am sure that Parma had to rent the space from the I-X ctr.

I placed first in the FHC and received $76.67. I know they payed out 21 places in the HC. Does anyone know how many places they payed in the FHC since there were only 21 shooters in that class?

I think that it states in the rules 20% of the field up to 20 places. So I would have to say 4 or 5 places were payed out for FHC

I placed first in HC and received 199.05. There were 209 in my class and I my friend placed sixth and I know he received $149 and some change. The breakdown looses me. The difference between first and sixth translates to less than $10 per place.

Tim, I'm not the one doing the payout, but based on the numbers you have given the payback looks right. Here is how I would do it.

209 shooters at $10.00 each = $2,090.00 in the purse.
20% of class is over the 20 place max, so 20 places paid.
Each place recieves its share of the pot. 1st place 20 shares, 2nd place 19 shares, 3rd place 18 shares on down to 20th place recieving 1 share.
This splits the pot across 210 shares.
$2,090.00 divded by 210 = $9.9523809 per share.
Your portion in first place ... 20 shares x $9.9523809 = $199.05
Your friend in 6th place ... 15 shares x $9.9523809 = $149.29

I'm sure that is now as clear as mud, hope it helps make some sence of it.
