Default RE: Bow cases and airlines

I have a SKB double case. Last year i flew to Florida. Request that it be treated as a weapon at the counter and have them inspect it there. They had security do a check, put a tag on it and I locked it and then wraped a large zip strap around it. No problems. You might want to make sure it is a sturdy case. When I returned home, to Detroit, Northwest has a large baggage pick up area that was packed. I watched them unload the cart by throwing my bow across the room onto a pile of other luggage and fall to the ground. Rugged case saved my bow.

We are leaving for Alabama in a couple weeks. Make sure you check the specs for baggage for your airline carrier. The rules are different for each airline. And thanks for the suggestion IMN23D appreciate it.
