What should I expect at local shoot?
I got invited to a toys for tots shoot in dec. and dont know what to expect. I' ve never shot like this and if anybody can help please do. Are there requirements on equipment? like arrow size, speed, bow poundage? how many arrows should I need to complete a stage? Are the different classes set up by age, speed, arrow weight, or experience? The shoot is at Muzzy in cartersville so I think it will be pretty formal and I dont want to be lost.

RE: What should I expect at local shoot?
I' ve never been to this shoot, but a lot depends on which format they follow. Is it IBO or ASA or neither? If it is IBO or ASA you can go to their website and look at their rules for equipment and class and speed. If it is just local rules, you may just shoot in a particular class based on equipment (fingers, traditional, movable sights etc). The number of arrows...depends on how good you are. You may only need one...but I would carry more (sometimes those targets jump or duck out of the way .
