A friend of mine, Chris Lockliear, won the shoot off for the chance but missed. Amazingly, the name he drew for another chance for the shot was also a friend and they roomed together while there, he missed also.

That was pretty interesting! Hats off to all of them! Shooting those distances with that many people watching! I would have blown that for sure!!!!!!!! I was a little disappointed by the distance on the final shoot! 117 yard Buffalo with wind!!!! Yeah right!!!! They didn' t stand a snowballs chance in hell of hitting that target! Carbon Express wanted to make sure they didn' t have to pay out all that money. They did have a lot of prizes that they handed out though. It was pretty fun overall.

Where did they have to hit the target to win the money?

Carbon Express, BowTech and Bowtreeinc were all in this together and the rules were set by the insurance company that would have paid out the $100,000.00.

I heard Ken say something about it to the crowd when we were setting up for the long shot...

The shooters had to hit a 1" dot and the target HAD to be placed at least 115 yds.

Maybe next time...Who knows....

Maybe next time Carbon Express won' t shut down the $100,000 qualifier an hour and a half early.... kinda rubbed salt in the wound after having the shoot yanked out from under us too.

Switching to BlackHawk Vapors
