Has anyone else gotten a room with a significant price increase for 2004? I read where Judy said no price increase so i' ll have to call her. I have reserved the same room I had for the last two years and got a 48% increase. I questioned it and was told that alot of people were complaining but it was right. Bad weather--bad footing and a price increase? I still don' t believe that a 48% increase is correct. There has got to be something wrong with their reservation system. Oh well I' ll call tomorrow.

I also reserved a room today for allegheny springs and there was a rate increase. I even asked when I reserved the room if they gave me the IBO discount and they also said there was a rate increase.

I just got off the phone with Snowshoe. There is no rate increase for next year.
There are (two that Iknow of) condos that have three bedrooms that had a locked bedroom that were rented as two bedroom condos.
These two will be rented as three bedroom condos because of the demand for three bedroom units.
If you have or are quoted an incorrect rate we will check it out to be sure the rate is correct. Their meeting on the mountain concluded just a few minutes ago concerning this. Corerect information is being disseminated as we speak.
I believe within the hour everyone will be on the same page.

We also re-booked our room in Highland House. We also had a rate increase for this most recent stay! [:@]
I hope this problem gets ironed out. Boy, two years in a row! I am starting to wonder... are they getting worried that they may not get a new contract when this one runs out??? So, their trying to milk us dry for the years to come?

Just got an email from Snowshoe and there was going to be a 5% increase this year, but due to all the confusion, Snowshoe has agreed to waive any rate increase for 2004. The 2004 rates will be exactly the same as the 2003 lodging rates when reserving the same unit type for the same number of days. If you have already made your reservation, your rate will be changed automatically and you will be sent a new confirmation by mail.
As always, any problems, call me.

I just got my new confirmation and it was adjusted to last year' s rate. Thanks you did a great job enforcing the contract and the interests of the participants. See ya' ll in 2004. With an anticipated 59% increase or maybe more. The IBO should start considering options after this contract runs out.
