Mouser 58 Are you wanting the crossbows to have the same 80 pounds max. draw weight and 5 grain per pound arrow weight restrictions the compounds have or do you want special consideration?

AH come on. Put a minimum on the arrows, same as the bows. Warranty is somewhere around 3 GPP. Let' s do that and shoot whatever speed the manufacturers can put up. Isn' t that what we are basically doing with the compound bows??? The 5 GPP is WELL below what the bow companys want you to shoot. I think that keeps it even for the guys that only want to shoot 165, or even 150#. This will give them a chance to speed up their equiptment to even out the field.

Mouse, Your summation concerning 5grns/lb is incorrect. Take a look at the Easton target charts.
The present rule in effect for the crossbow class. came from both shooters and manufacturer' s.
Presently there is no outcry from the shooters to even look at a change.
Practice your distance judging a little more.
Also take a look at the Archers Advantage program, you will get a better feel for what it will take to get that magic one pin fits all thing.
