ok....pay attention all you camo wearing, snuff slurping, cigarette drooling, leg humpin, archery wantabee' s......

the duo (onebowtie-dondeere/dondeere-onebowtie) are about to reign on your parade....

see, first off.....there wont be anymore full days of shooting 10-20 targets....you einstiens will have to aim a bit quicker....and jerk faster.......

next.....if you aint having fun.....your outta here.......

and if your a sandbagger.....bag on...with it......

also....we are going to always need one of you hardhead hee man ibo' ers to pull arrows...no way is the duo going pull them and than need rotator cuff surgery.....

now here is the good news for yall.....the duo always has the female types caddy fetch for them.....so....now yall need to start lining up the caddys for each of these shin digs....the caddies are to wear appropriate clad clothing(sorta like a hooters girl) and they should have a cooler on every range.....carry your bows and lube your arrows.....

also.....i been hearing about bowpro and his little side action.....well....bring on the wife and your spottie hero.....cause the duo will take them down.....

matter fact bowpro.....you can even set up a special course for this little action....make it known yardage for hyrprymate and your wife...and the duo will shoot it unknown....cause were that good!!!!!! and we all know....darrin aint guessing no yardage...matter fact...ive been with him a time or two...and his yardage guessing aint much....we were in indy one year...and he said...park here...the club is just over there....well....about 2miles of walking later...we got a cab.....so you picking up what im laying down.....the prymate is good for 20 yards....but stretch that...and it gets ugly....oh ya...dont ever go to a bar with him thats longer than 20 yards....they all start looking good to the boy....eeewww

The Duo in the IBO???things to fast in the ASA or did you take all the signed dollars there?
The Hood thinks the IBO dont have what it takes to have fun..No pro-am, no sims known yardage shoot, all you get to do is seat in the woods all day and wait to shoot...Like they say,, The Hood tells it like it is..am I wrong??is there a tent city where all the shooter hangout, eat and shoot the breeze??Oh,, no they dont need one all the shooters hangout and wait to shoot 20..;)

Well as the Captain of the Posse,,,on this trip I' ll have to send OneBadApple, He' s slow and is always talkin IBO this and IBO that,,well Apple IBO this..Pack up and get on down to PA and reserve a parkin spot for the Deer-a-max' s and get ready to lug some Ego' s through the Hill, Keep the crowd back,,you now The Duo only signs autograph' s when they want to so do your job and do it good!!Keep all the on seekers away from the caddy' s and no sour apple' s on this trip..

Till there' s more then 40 soapin shoots The Hood is goin to have to stay home and shoot the local stuff (where I win) and be home to mow and bar-b-Q...Just what is The draw???

first things first....maverick3d.....what if, what if.....come on....thats like asking if the kennedys are gunshy.......you ibo' ers all wear camo....smell like yesterdays skunk beer.......want to be archers....but at best, yall are halfarse hunters.....yall couldnt hit a deer for a kill shot unless it was crippled, blind, and tied up....and thats only after you go pick up your shot arrows twice;):D[:o][X(]

oh ya, yall must have already heard about the duo and its parades.....the asa holds special parades in honor of the duo each and every event....even if we cant make it....the asa honors the duo with floats, dancing girls, signed posters given out, freebies given to the crowds.....etc...etc....

now look here hood, all the ibo and its faults are about to change...the duo is on the job.......we will have the ibo up to " snuff" in no time.....caddys in proper attire for all ranges, the new rinehart/duo challenge round, tent city with lounge chairs, a enclosed autograph trailer(a must for crowd control), and water coolers every 4th target station, and porta pottys two to a range........

and most of all....anyone taking more time than alloted to shoot, they get ******ed off the range and given a one way ride.....outta town.....we dont tolerate slow flinchers.....

OBT what improvements do you have in store for the IBO? with the ones your talkin about I want to shoot with you. Mabey I can learn from the master archer about having a good time on the range. Count me into your group I want to shoot with you. C-YA Bowjunkie

...okay...looks like we WILL need our own course set up!!...I think somewhere near the parking lot under the line of Oaks for shade...or maybe the swimming pool so the " lady-caddies" can cool off when they get over-heated from carrying our " stuff" :D...

...I hear that shooting IBO is like 20 in a group shooting anyway...so why not???...lets get us a group of 20 or so " takers" JUAN and give it a go!!!...we' ll shoot in the same amount of time that 5 or 6 take;)...

...oh and if we take ALL day to get through the course...I MUST EAT AT SOME POINT!!...so I' ll bring the " grill-to-go" for the caddies to cook us some good ol fashioned BURGERS on the hill:)...then a nice little " power snooze" amongst the tall timber...and off to finish the course and on to the WINNERS CIRCLE[8D]...

...hummm...with all the gear were going to need...I think it may be time to look for some help for BOWPRO' S wife!!...I know BOWPRO says she is in shape...but, can we get some " lady VOLS" to lend a hand for the cause???[:-]...maybe since HYRPRYMATETHANMOST is NOT a 3D' er...he can help out the ladies with the details...maybe!!...:D:D:D

I just dont think this Old School IBO will change...

In my area, The only reason people shoot a IBO is to thin the pencil pushers out and KNOW who is the best. And we have a lot a of No.2 pencil pusher who finish at the bottom of the list each year..
None of the people here travel to the big shoots,,well maybe one or two each year..

I do think if the IBO would put togethere a funner and more wider ban of shootin I would spend my money on them, but just to go to a shoot to shoot 40 arrows in two day[:@]That' s no fun. Like I have said,,There' s only one winner and the rest of us need to play and have fun to leave the house..
Sorry Ken, but the IBO is not growing here(in the midwest) and is really getting smaller. Look at the NFAA and what they do at the shoots and the ASA and all the side events at both, we travel to shoot,visit,and have FUN,not wait all day to shoot 20 arrows. Titles are dime a dozen now days and no way remenbers who won last week. So build a funner event and promote it..You have the power and the backin..but if it ain' t broke, dont fix it???just like your state reps,,some of whom don' t even shoot anymore and dont care what the IBO does,but talk good on the phone when need to.
I' m the Hood and I pay to play and have fun. The die hard winners will be just like me in a few years and want just a play and have fun. better start thinking about us vets of turnament archery and start building some side events, hack, I would come to a shoot just to do the fun events and see all the new stuff in tent city...

I have no clue what this thread is all about, but I can say from my experience the NFAA can' t hold a candle to the IBO in regard to how the organization treats it charters.

Well Hood, I am not sure exactly how to answer your posts. At first a few smart responses came to mind , then I thought it was obvious that you had not been there (by your comments) and perhaps I should explain a bit to you.
There is a couple vendors there.
One or two things to do besides shoot your 40 arrows.
A couple people hang around lookin for someone to talk to.
But with all due respect to the efforts and the events of the Midwest Triple Crown, it is not quite the same competition as at the National' s.
If you don' t think that title means something to someone that has won it, try and get that buckle from them. This one is the one that tries mens souls. Each event has a seperate type of terrain and the experience of the range architechs is to create a shoot that takes advantage of the challenges presented by each. A shooter does not shoot from the road. They are going to take you to the shots. They progress in difficulty and stress.
If you are up for it we will be there, if not we understand.;)

Title doesn' t mean anything???? I' ll tell you what, first, I' m a decent shooter...not up to the standards of OBT or the Hood, I' m sure....however, I' ve got few world champions that I sponsor. A couple recurve and a couple semipros....believe me, that title means a lot to ME.....not to mention what it means to them. It always seems to be a spots -vs- 3D comment on these forums....why?? The NFAA shoots are great, however, so are the nationals and worlds is IBO. Can' t comment on ASA since I don' t go there. I' m sure they run a class act.

But believe me, that title means a lot!!! I spend good money every year making sure my shooters have what they need and can make it to any shoot they want to. IBO, NFAA, NAA you name it. It' s all archery and it' s all good!!!

OBT and the Hood, hope to see you in Bedford, I' m hoping that my team makes a good showing this year.

Sounds like you mean they don' t mean anything with that quote. I understand what you mean, however, I feel any form of archery is a great way to promote the sport, traditional, nfaa, asa, ibo......so why come on an IBO web site and cut their shoots into pieces....I happen to like their shoots, along with the NFAA' s.

Give it a chance and then comment on how good/bad they are

my thoughts were.
I been getting 3d times for years, clear back when they were paper fronts around ' 92' and the titles then meant something, I remember Burly Hall, Randy Chappell Allen Conners, and the winners from back then, But I dont know who won last year. There are so many shoots now that each week there is a new winner and a new title, who won the last ASA or who won the nfaa nationals??There are so many titles now that one of them dont stand out any more then the other..
I' m not cutting down NO WINNERS or titles, Hack I brag about my 3 or 4 Midwest IBO trilpe Crown wins all the time, But you now what? inless I think really hard I cant remember if it 3 or 4..
Titles are a dime a dozen because theres a new title every weekend, is what I meant, One no more importent then the other, and the spot shooter think there shoots mean more then the 3d shoots,,who know? I think the guy that win this weekend wont win next weekend..Theres NO more Randy Ulmer' s and Burly Hall' s,,well there' s Jeff Hopkins:D but maybe, no more, it could OneBowtie

Ok, I had a WEAK monent.
There is one title,, that if you can win will mean more then all the rest,,and that is the Duo' s Title, When they beat you, you know you been beat by the best smackin shooters in the World and you' ll go home crying and tell your wife and kids how bad it felt to be on the bottom end of the Duo' s smack:D Take noice!!The rules of the Duo change at every target and untill you have mastered the rules,You will lose everytime. if they shoot a 5, you better follow;)because that could be the 5 target[:o] If they bust out a moonpie and call for a cheerwine, you better kick back[:-]because it time for a back rub from the cooler carrying caddy' s, The sweetest Lady in archery line up to do this on the Duo' s courses:)Yes, they are in line and waiting for the honors, or pick to play with the BEST ACHERY HAS TO OFFER....

Heard a little rumour on another board.
I heard that OBT is not only stuck in the mud in the parking lot, but he shot a whopping 190 on day two! Rumour is he shot bad on day one!

Honestly speaking, I woulda figured a guy smart enuff to drive a chevy could shoot a little better than that![:o]

Surely he ain`t serious bout coming north with them credentials.
