I' ve been wanting to shoot IBO Tournaments as long as I can remember, but never thought I was good enough until now. Could someone tell me how to get started, and how to learn the ropes? I feel like this would be alot of fun! Thanks, kotklegg

Shooting in a national IBO shoot is just as easy as shooting at a regular club shoot.
There are just more shooters. Alot more!

You do have more shooting classes to choose from, and you must follow the rules of the class entered.

Classes vary by the equiptment you use, and your age.

The IBO has a website...http://www.ibo.net/.....it explains the different classes, and provides shoot dates.

If you have any questions, just jump in here and ask. Someone is always around to help out.

The shoots are a blast to participate in, and the proceeds help bowhunting!

Bring your wife and have her compete too.
When she can whip you on a regular basis, then you just become the president of the IBO so you don`t have time to shoot!

Ouch.....that' s a shot!

Find a club in your area and start shooting there.
Join the IBO and just turn up at IBO shoots.
But be prepared to be humbled
Its a lot of fun and you get to meet all sorts of people and strike up some lasting friendships.

There are classes for every one just as BC said so do some reading find out what class your gear is suited for and ENJOY

You don' t have to be good to shoot in the IBO; in fact, it may be more fun if your not.
Just do it.

if we all waited to be good....non of us would shoot.....just load your gear and head on out....its all about having fun.....forget about where you place or trying to win money.....if your doing it for money or only to win, you miss the best part of the whole deal....

after all.....you' ve probably heard of robbyhood.....well according to him....he is like the greatest ibo legend of them all....(remember-according to him)....and ive shot with him....and he sucks....i beat him...and everyone beats me....so see...it dont matter how good you are.....come on out.....and get addicted like the rest of us......
