Hunt class rules question
Is a Timberline No Peep allowed in F.H.C? The rule book doesnt say anything about such equipment. I was just wondering since this is not the same as a scope or anything like that , it it would be allowed.

Seeing that the no peep is a sight alignment device that allows the user not to use a regular peep and does not magnify the actual sights and is also fixed I cant see any reason why it would not be allowed.

RE: Hunt class rules question
I am currently using a peep sight that the bow string is separated into three pieces and the peep sight is placed in the middle. Sometimes when I draw, one the the strings is obstructing my line of sight. Are there better options, I used to have one that used black tubing to aline itself and was not pleased with that setup. Any ideas? Maybe this Timberline No Peep?

Yeah, those are a pain in the butt. If you want to stay with that style, there is a surz-a-peep 2x2 that divides into 4 but it will need to align correctly. It' s like two on each side.
The nopeep works great, I have 2 of them and have shot a local (not sactioned) shoot with it in the HC once. I did great, my best score yet.
You are smart to loose that 3 string peep. Good thinking!

First, I must admit that until you asked the question I had no idea what a no-peep was. Having found one my instinct says that it will probably be allowed. I am going to ask further though. It does utilise a lens, which is prohibited, wether or not it magnifies your pins. Give me a day or two, I' ll get you a more difinitive answer.

RE: Hunt class rules question
bluejacket, the no-peep absolutely does NOT magnify your pins...in fact it hangs under your sight and in no way interferes or obstructs the view of said pins. Please go to www.timberline-archery.com to learm more about this product. They have good pictures and verbage about their product located there.
Thank you.
Thank you.
