Pro payback
Ok, my club is going to host a qualifier and I' m wondering about dealing with pro' s that may come.
What do most clubs charge pros and how much do they payback to them? My current thoughts are to charge $75 each with $50 of the $75 pooled into a payback for the top 3 pro scores. The reality of it is we are a rather small club in a desolate part of minnesota, so we won' t likely get many pros. But, if we do, I' d like to see that they are treated well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |
RE: Pro payback
The local qualifiers must offer all classes but you do not have to make them for money. If you feel you will not have more then 1 or 2 they will only get their money back, charge them the same as the others. They are looking for the invitation as everyone else.

RE: Pro payback
In all my pro-am type of competitions, not bow related. The payback was usually 80%. If less then 5 competitors showed, it was winner take all. Less then 10, top 2 get payback. Over 10 and the top 3 got a check.
