Default IBO Rules

All my local 3D shoot are either ASA clubs or IBO clubs. If they are an IBO club, they say they follow IBO rules. I havemade a few changes to my bow this year and I want to find the differences between ASA and IBO rules; however, I have yet to find a rule book for either. Can someone point me in the right direction. Also, I have heard that IBO changed a rule on allowable arrow size as well as fletching size. Can someone tell me if this is correct and what the changes are.

Thanks

The rumored rule concerning maximumarrow diameter does not exist in the IBO. The only rule changeconcerning fletching is in the advanced hunter class allowing the use of 2" vanes or feathers (measured 1.75"). Hope that answers your questions.

For ASA go to their web site. Look under ProAm and you'll find class definitions there. Lot more complicated than IBO, imho.

In the AHC class (advanced hunter) there is a new rule that 2" vanes can be used but in the regular hunters class the 4" vanes are still the only allowable size.
