I am thinking about getting a SpotHogg Hogg-it sight.
It has the 2nd and 3rd axis.
I want to know if this sight will be legal for Hunter Class?

Thanks in advance

No reason it wouldn't be legal....check out www.copperjohn.com first though.

JD I know I will have to take out one pin.

It was the 2nd and 3rd axis adjustments I am worring about.

Hopefully Ken or N23D will be able to give me a ruling

Ausie-guy - It will be fine. Like JD said 4 pins, remove the 5th, you can not just slide it down. No adjustments to that axis while on the ranges.

Well Tex that Hogg-It would look great on that BowTech!!!!

I have one on my Pro 38 AND one on my Patriot.

The one on the Patriot lines up a little goofy because the mounting holes are so high - in the '02 Pat at least...

I think they are THE best fixed pin sight available - to compare to the copper john you MUST look at the Dead Nuts Pro 3 - I think that's the only one with 2nd & 3rd axis adjustment.

Then - the Hogg-It has gang AND individual MICRO adjust in windage AND elevation - it just doesn't get better!!! Also - the centering wire in the Hogg makes it stand out... For 3D this thing is a REAL killer!

I just love mine - both of them! They are expensive and WORTH it!!!
Your BowTechs were expensive - and worth it too right??

Huntmup.
I looked at the extreme sniper the Copper John dead nuts pro3 and the Hogg-it.

The deciding factor for me is the micro adjustments.

Yeah it is going to cost a little more but hey just as long as the wife dont find out <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

And yes the Bowtech is well worth it<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

You should check out the HTM sights. They have a full line of sights and the quality is second to none. The 3rd axis adjustment is on thing that can come loose and cost you points. Look at the HTM and you will find out the difference.
