IBO?
#1
Hey folks I've been back in archery about a year. I shoot and hunt all the time (year round) and will spend more time shooting this year. I'm a new member of the ASA. What's the difference between the ASA and IBO? What's the advantage of being a member of the IBO?
Thanks for your input.

I am sure you can find more but ASA has shot gun starts for the most part. ASA has a slow speed class with the exception of the new OUTLAW CLASS {available in only a few test states this year}. If you shoot ASA you will have to make sure you arrow is not traveling faster the 285 FPS. Both IBO and ASA have some great guide lines / rules and both of them could learn a little from each other. The IBO has been way more interesting for me threw the years.I do sort of like the 14 ring thing in ASA .. Its a daring shot and anything that make 3D more fun I am for.
