cam and 1/2 or versa cam

Default cam and 1/2 or versa cam

i am going to get a hoyt ultratec for 3d. but anyways i have heard some people say they like the versa cam better than the cam 1/2.. what do you guys think is a better cam?

I thought the cam and 1/2 was the only available cam on the new models. I really like it. The wall is almost non-existant and there is no play at the end of the draw. You should try them for yourself and make your own decision. Afterall, you are the one who will be shooting it.

i have shot it and i liked it alot.. but i just though i would check what you guys though. i was thinking about buying a used last years bow if you guys though it was a better cam system then the cam 1/2.

I shoot the VorTec with a Sabercam and an UltraTec with the Excel cam. They are not as fast as other cams but they are smooth. However they do not offer the excel cam anymore. but if you are lucky to find a dealer that has one left over from last year I would highly recommend it.
