It was great! The Girt family and the City of Anderson did a wonderful job.
There were a few hiccups - nothing horrible and I'm sure that since this was a first time for this group, there are a few things they will tweak. Buses ran, some more scheduling posts would help folks there maybe. As you've heard it was hot, but it was hot all over the U.S. I loved the change of venue and scenery. Change is the spice of life and keeps us learning right? I shot at the Boy Scout camp, the courses were challenging and fun. Sorry you missed it, hope you can make it next year!

The shoot was great. The entire Girt group are to be commended, and Tony girt was an absolute mad-man, everywhere all the time and no sleep for 2 weeks. Ranges were challenging but fair witha good mix of shots. A lot was learned by the hosts and it will be better next year.

My shoot times were messed up. There was nobody else at my time. The first day I got there I ended up having to shoot a half hour before I was suppose to. The next day I had to set and wait and hour 1/2 longer before I got to shoot. It was hot and nasty too. My course was 30-40 min drive away from the main event though I guess I cant complain too much since it looked like our course was the only one that had shade trees. I suppose you have to give them some slack because it was there first time having it but I liked Snowshoe much much better.
