if you could get the hottest bow for 3-d what would it be right now? I leaning towards the 03 ultratec with xt 2000 limbs but i'am waiting till all the 03 models have been released till I buy. so what is your dream 3-d bow also rest, sights, stab, release? I think a mze rest extreme sniper sights and a stealth stab with scott mongoose release. I hope you guys can give me some help because the rest of the board doesn't. Thanks Wannabe redneck

BowTech BKII or P40 dual cam.

RE: looking for the ulimate 3-d bow
ok I shoot a Bowtech but that covers both hunting and 3d.
Now my dream 3d bow would have to be the Merlin Max 2000. ![]() Aussie by birth Texan by choice |
RE: looking for the ulimate 3-d bow
Wannabe...The 03 Hoyts have been out since October. The 03 Ultratec XT2000 with the Cam&1/2 is a sweet shooting bow. Great for 3D and for hunting.

BowTech_Shooter here. Make sure to take a look at the BowTech Pro 40 Dually as Phil said. It will be plenty forgiving and have more than enough speed to be a great 3-D rig.
Depending on how well I shoot my 2002 BK2 I just might jump into a Pro 40 Dually myself. G'day Ausie-guy, Bite your toungue mate...LOL... |
RE: looking for the ulimate 3-d bow
My dually is on its way and i am so excited to shoot it. i heard it is a great finger shooters bow. i have heard alot on the dually and how smooth it is.
i iwll let you guys know when i get it. |
RE: looking for the ulimate 3-d bow
Hey Adam, I talked to Greg J. the other day and he said you had a Pro 40 Wheely on order... Is it a Pro 40 Wheely or a Dually?
BTW, Greg's a great guy to shoot for. He treats his shooters (and customers) right, as I'm sure you'll find out for yourself... |
RE: looking for the ulimate 3-d bow
Take a look at the CSS Challenger. I know that it is not a big name, but it is the most forgiving bow I have shot. Mine is 42" axle to axle with 6 1/2 inches of brace height. It shoots 295 fps IBO. If you do not want a bow that long, you can get it shorter. Not only is the bow forgiving but it hits hard. It does not lose its energy down-range like other bows. I shot one for 3 years. I just bought a new bow and it was another Challenger. As for a sight, I recommend the Toxonics Naildriver. It is lite and durable and completly adjustable. The stablizer that I recommend is the AEP. It is the best stablizer that I have put on my bow and I have tried everything from Doinker to Easton. Good shooting.
