?the rule book i am reading says (a peer group is the top ten finishing shooters in any class)

I noticed in some classes they had more than 5 in the peer groups but in the southern triple crown there are less people so for example 6th place might be a whole tournament behind or in some classes 3rd place would be a whole tournament behind. I think thats why they did that.
