First time going to southern triple crown and needing a little help with hotel locations. Was looking at maybe something by the water but not real sure of the distance to the shoot. My question is what are some good places near the shoot or by the water if it`s not too far. BTW what`s the hotel situation in Wetumpka,AL and Calhoun,GA. Thanks for any and all help on the new show... " The Lost and Aimless Wandering". LOL.

I believe the Pensacola shoot is about 12 miles from the beach, it is well worth the trip to see the beaches! Most motels around the water will cost more than if you stay further inland. There are motels on Interstate 10 that are affordable. My wife and I have reservations at Sleep Inn for 4 nights about $280.00. And only eight miles to the beach. The Pensacola Beach area is very nice. Motels for Wetumpka ALcan be found in theMontgomery Alarea and for Calhoun look at Rome Ga. Also for the shoot in Wetumpka contact Bennetts Archery from the IBO schedule site, there use to be cabins available at the shoot site. Not sure if they are available still. Hope this helps and will see some of you in a month.

the best place to stay for the wetumpka shoot is the key west inn, it is the closest to the site and i think its the only hotel in wetumpka. montgomery is about 30-40min from the shoot site, the key west inn might be booked so i would call them asap.
