RE: Question on Sure-Locs'
The difference between the challanger and the supreme is the challanger has a lock down knob on the elevation adjustment and the supreme doesn't. Also the supreme is more micro ajustable; the clicks are closer. Both are good sights and I would recommend either one.
Take Care and good luck shooting!

P.S. I shoot the supreme 400.

RE: Question on Sure-Locs'
As John said, both are good sights. I have shot both. But before you invest in a Sure-Loc, take a look at the Toxonics Naildriver. I switched to this sight 3 months ago and I prefer it over my Sure-Loc. I do not have a problem with the Tox sight moving or jumping threads. The Tox also weighs less. Either way you go you will get a good sight, but having shot both I would take the Naildriver.
Good Shooting.

RE: Question on Sure-Locs'
The Sure-Loc is a GREAT sight, but if you would give the Copper John sights a try I think you would be REAL impressed. I have shot both and would much rather shoot the Copper John.

Greetings, Fasstfletch.
Still agree HTM is the best.
Just got my second HTM awhile back in silver for my Silver Merlin Super Nova.
It's the LRD 800 with the super fast drive.
The drive is so fast that you don't need a push button release like the Sure-Loc.
Strongest sight on the planet = HTM
Sag.

I'd like to add other features for the Supreme. The Supreme also has a button you push in to mass move the elevation and the Challenger doesn't. With the challenger you have to click the sight for every move.
My Supreme also came with the Armored rod holder and third axis block and I don't believe the Challenger does, at least it didn't 2 yrs. ago when I bought my sons...
In my opinion the Supreme is better.
I think that pretty well sums it up on the sights you specifically asked about...

RE: Question on Sure-Locs'
The Challenger does has mass movement but it is a little more detailed than just pushing in the loc button on the supreme. Alos you can now buy the challenger with an armored rod holder and 3rd axis leveling block. "New last year" I still recommend the Copper John sight though.
