Chris, You are correct, I did miss that you don't shoot the Hunter Class. For that I apologize, after going back and reading these posts, I think I understand what you are questioning. As far as the clubs deciding the amount of awards, their are two answers to the question. I will try my best to answer them. First the plaques/trophies are based on last years participation. The amount of them for this year was on the registration form which you completed before shooting. If you are shooting in a money class, the cash payout is determined by the number of shooters in that class, and the top 20% receive checks. Our percentage of payout is the same as other organzations. I don't have the formula that is used but it is available from the office. I hope that this answers your questions? I'm sorry if I offended you, it wasn't my intent, sometimes things get misinterpreted here.

I BELIEVE THE REASON THEY DON'T INCLUDEAN INDOOR WOLRD CHAMPIONSHIP WIN AS A STEP UPFOR H.C. OR ANY OTHER CLASS IS BECAUSE THEY CAN ONLY HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF SHOOTERS PARTICIPATING AT THE X.I. CENTER. LIMITED TIME AND SPACE DOESN'T ALLOW FOR EVERYONE WHO MAY WANT TO SHOOT, SHOOT. SO GET YOUR ENTRIES IN EARLY!

AS FAR AS THE PAYBACKS GO. I HAVE A CHART SHOWING THE BREAKDOWN. THE MORE SHOOTERS YOU HAVE IN THE CLASS THE LOWER THE PERCENTAGE IS FOR THE WINNER. THEY PAYBACK THE TOP 10% UP TO 20 SHOOTERS.I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY DON'T JUST GO AHEAD AND POST THE PAYBACK CHART ON THE WEBSITE AND END ALL THE RUMORS ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Rudy, thankyou for yourtaking the time to explain. You did not offend me at all. I think that POINT ON has a very good idea. If the pay back chart was posted it would show where the money goes. I would also like to see a break down of where my $50.00 entry fee goes. Like how much goes to the payback and the IBO and the club hosting the shoot. I think if this information was easily accessible the members could decide for themselves if they agree or disagree with how the money is divided. For example, if I saw that $5.00 went to the payback,$5.00 went to the IBO and $40.00 went to the club and I agreed to come and shoot after seeing this I would have no reason to complain about what I won or diddnt win. Lots of the post on here could be cleared up very quickly if the people that knew the answers to the questions that were being asked would just respond. Getting told something even if it is not what you want to hear is better than just feeling ingnored.
