How will the peer groups be determined? My wife and I will making a 14 hours drive up from Alabama on Thursday. We had wanted to shoot either 30 or 40 targets on Friday so that we could make the drive back home on Saturday with Sunday to rest before going back to work. Neither of us are in contention for the Triple Crown so would it be possbile for us to shoot the tournament on Friday or at least 30 targets with the possibility of 10 on Saturday morning? Thanks for any help you can give us as this is our first year shooting the northern shoots.

The combined scores from the 1st and 2nd legs of the National Triple Crown are used to determine who must shoot in peer groups. The top 10 combined scores from each class designate which shooters this applies to. If you are one of the shooters posting these scores you will be recieving a letter letting you know when and where to report at Nelsonville for group assignment. If you could possibly be included in this list but do not recieve a letter call the IBO office (440-967-2137), check on-line, or when you get there to be sure of what is required. (I know its hard to believe, but sometimes the mail sort of fouls up the letter notification thing.[
])
If you are sure that neither you nor your wife are required to shoot peers, then as stated by nysrep, come and shoot at your discretion and have fun.

Thanks for the help. my wife and I both finished in 10th place(by score) at The 2nd leg(McKean,Pa.) but did not shoot as well at the first leg in Bedford. I don't think that our combined scores will put us anywhere near the top 10 in our class. Thanks again for the helpful advice.
