On Monday morning Rick White had a serious motorcyle accident while going to work. He is at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie Indiana. Rick's injuries are very serious and he needs our thoughts and prayers. Rick has been in archery for a long time and has helped many of us with our equipment and shooting skills. It's our turn to help him with our prayers. Thanks for your help.

I have visited with Rick and his family the last 2 days. Rick is in intensive care with severe head trauma. He was wearing his helmet and leathers at the time of the accident. Rick is not awake but his condition is stabilizing. He has undergone surgery on his head to relieve pressure to the brain.

Us who know Rick, know that he is a very strong person. The best support that we can give him now are our thoughts and prayers. I will try to keep everyone updated on his progress.[/align]

I have had the privilege of knowing Rick since the early eighties when he shot for Golden Eagle as a PAA Pro. Peggy and I shared with Rick and his wife along with Darrell Pace and his wife one of the most fun dinners I can ever remember just a few months after we met.
As long as I have known Rick he has always given suggestions and help, always looking to make things better for archers everywhere. Always willing to help a shooter improve their skills.
We will keep Rick and his family in our prayers fora complete recovery.

Just a quick update....Rick is showing signs of improvement. The doctors are beginning the process of waking him. We should know more later this week. Keep the thoughts and prayers coming.

I would like to extend a "Get well soon" to Rick and his family. I shot with Rick this year at Bedford and can truly say what a great guy he is. I had read this post when it was first posted and did not realize it was the Rick from Indiana whom I'd shot with. I shot with Tony Girt at Erie and saw the Girt's archery shirt and told him that I had shot with Rick and Randy from Girt's shop. Tony informed me about Rick's accident, it was then I realized it was the Rick whom I'd shot with at Bedford that had the cycle accident. He informed me Rick had struck a deer on his Harley.
Any updates on Rick's condition would be appreciated.
GET WELL SOON RICK !
