Default Off season routines

I'm curious as to what some of you do during the off season to stay sharp and prepare for the next 3d year. I realize right now relaxing in a tree stand or hunting blind is paramount, but do any of you have any set routines for the winter months as far as practice goes. For me, I try to shoot 300 league at least twice a week. Focus and intencity are my week points and this seems to help some.

I stand corrected. Most of the clubs in our usual circuit finish by late september. Our own members pretty much head to the woods by early october. I'm glad you enjoy our club, and the effort but forth by our members. I'm afraid, however, I would be facing a muttiny if I even suggested losing hunting time for another shoot. We will see you again on Super Bowl Sunday.

My current training schedule for next 3D season includes:

-practicing indoors almost every day a week
-physical preperation including, power sit ups and running up and down stairs for cartiovascular indurance
-A good nutrition base including fruits, pasta, meat, and vegetables
(excluding all junk food ie.chips, chocolate, candy, fatty foods, and no soft drinks or alchohol).
-proper hydration is key as well, I tend to drink aproxematly
4 liters or one gallon per day.
-I also try to work on mental preperation during my practice.
-it is good to practice your yardage every once and a while during the winter so that your yardage skills stay sharp, then practice yardage almost every day when the snow leaves.

ACC 3-28,
Are you accepting applications from perspective clients to go through your training regimen with you? It sounds like something a lot of us could use!!!

Pinmaster: Its funny, I was just sitting here thinking about this post as you replied. It is amazing to me how dedicated some folks are. I feel almost lazy after reading of his effort.

Acc 3-28: Keep up the good work, your a better man than I am.

Pinmaster-Bluejacket: I started this routiene about a year ago, and once I started I found it easy to maintain my scheduele. For the most part all it takes is a little willpower and alot of dedication.
I started this program when I set out goals for myself, as to what I wanted to acomplish during the next 3D season, and becauce of all my hard work I have acheived these goals and I am very pleased with what I have accomplished.
