I am fairly new to 3D archery. The last couple of shoots I
went on I noticed people carrying a set of flip cards. These cards seem to show the specific target layouts for each target. Does any know anything about these cards. Are they legal to use in competition? Where can I find these cards? Thank you in advance for your replies.

the mckenzie cards that have the rings marked for scoring are legal. the yardage helper cards are NOT legal for using at ibo shoots. you can find these cards at most archery shops or cabellas or bass pro shops.

YOU CAN GET THESE CARDS AT ANY GOOD PRO-SHOP USUALLY IF THEY HANDLE COMPETITION SIGHTS AND SO FORTH, IF NOT YOU MAY ALSO TRY AT THE LARGER SHOOTS (TRIPLE CROWNS, ETC.) BECAUSE THERE ARE A LOT OF VENDORS AT THESE AND I WOULD BET AT LEAST 98% OF THEM HAVE THESE CARDS. THEY ARE LEGAL IF THEY DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO JUDGE YARDAGE BY. ONE SET ON THE MARKET ARE TRANSPARENT AND YOU HOLD THEM UP TO THE TARGET AND MATCH THE DIFFERENT SIZES TO GET THE YARDAGE. THESE ARE ILLEGAL. BUT THE OTHERS PUT OUT BY MCKENZIE ARE LEGAL AND ARE A BIG HELP TO SHOW EXACTLY WHERE THE KILL IS. HOPE THIS HELPS.
