I havent been out of the 3D sport for a few years now and plan on starting back in the 2006 year. I was just wondering on sponcers on how hard it is to get them. I know i will probably at least half to shoot all this year to show that i am shooting tournaments. But i seen that some companys say you half to be sponcered by a local pro shop. How do you go about doing this. I mean if you sponcered by a local shop what do they do for you. I mean what does sponcers do to help you. Thats what i want to know and do you go about asking them and getting them to sponcer you. I know you guys have been through this atleast some of you. Anyone have any info on this i would greatly appreciate it. There is a lot of shops in my area just whether they would sponcer me or not is the thing. Also is a lot of tournaments in this area a lot in Sw VA and east Tenn. Thanks for any info.

My staff shooters have to fill out a resume; with experience, shoots attended, club memberships, ect.. They have to be outgoing and friendly. If we decide to take them on as shooters, they sign a one year contract, that outlines what I expect from them and what they can expect from me. What they can expect from me is to get them bow deals from the factory, when they are available, all equipment for their personal use at a discounted rate. Equipment for their family members at 10% off. And shooters shirts and other promo. items. I also help with factory sponser deals, by writing letters and making calls. I expect that they will conduct themself in a professional manner, and hopefullybring customers to my store. If you want to shoot for a shop, ask at the one you are a loyal customer to. Chances are they will give you a try.
