A little while back I was fortunate to win the PA IBO State title for HC at Little Buffalo, but I never received a plaque or trophy etc for the win?
I love those types of things to hang in my archery room and look back on........were the winners in each class supposed to receive one?
If not that's a bummer.
I'd much rather a neat little trophy to admire than a little $$ any day.

I got one for the 2nd Leg at Erie and figured a state championship would be good for one too?

I will call Little Buffalo. I don't know what they gave back, trophy or a money payback. Usually a Host Club will do oneOR the other, doing both is too costly for a club. I will let you know what I find out.

I'm guessingNO because thereWAS a Payback......I did not realize that the expense of the trophy/plaque was on the host club. I did well in the ASA PA state championship as well and there was both in that instance.
Don't get me wrong $$ is nice.Butdoesn't ever seem to last as long asa trophy.

I'm not sure how the ASA handles their shoots, but IBO has Archery Clubs host the world qualifiers not just for a place to qualify, but also as a fundraiser to help the clubs. All of us who belong to a local archery club know we always can use money to keep the club going.
Sounds like you had a real good shooting season....hope your hunting season is as good! See you next year!
