If the rules are to be taken as they are read, building the shelf up with some type of material to take the slope out of it would put it outside the rules. If it were my bow, I would opt for using a file to take the slope out of the shelf. If you take it down it will bring the arrow closer to the top of her hand which will be to her advantage. I think that the alluminum riser will not be weakened too much, but it is nota bow that I made, so I must say the above is MY opinion.

You wrote"I would like to see her compete in YTRD",.I would like to see her compete in YTRD also, soif you can't make the bow work, please contact me and I may have a bow that I will loan you or help with the modification. If she wants to shoot YTRD let's make that happen.
