Default Getting It Right

Is peak weight as in the rule book considered shooting weight ? If say a cub is shooting at 38# but the bow specs say it will go to 50# and the rules say 40# peak weight would this shooter be alright?
HC says a min. of 4" vains. I have 2 different fletch types on 2 different arrows seeing which one suits me. 1 is a bit longer than 4" the other a bit less, yet both manufactures state that they are 4" fletch. Would it be a no no if I use the one that is measuring less ?

Bows are weighed for rule compliance. 38# for a cub would be o.k.

4 inch vanes can be as short as 3.75" and be considered legal. In the manufacturing process molded vanes can and do shrink when removed from the mold.
