Senior Hunter Class 22 people signed, Money Hunter Class 3 people signed for a yardage change and 2 of those do not shoot the class so does that mean those that shot do not want yardage change or there is not enough interest to have class.

There was a survey taken in Bedford at the first leg of the National Triple Crown. There were two sheets, one asking about yardage in MHC and the other asking the fifty and older folks about a Senior Hunter Class. The sheets were in registration at the IBO table.

People were being told that if you we not shooting in the money HC that you could not vote on the yardage issue. Also you had to be 50 to vote on the SHC issue. As a state rep. I have had a ton of people tell me they would shoot the money HC if the yardage was 35. 35 yards is the reason for this class (HC) being so popular! Make the survey is open to all.(people change classes and age groups all the time). Most important, listen to what is being said.

your right listen to what is said if the class is not established the yardage is not relevent and why should another class decide what the rules will be for someone else. Oh and people signing multiple times doesn't count either.

ej,
I am not sure what the problem is with getting a SHC started, but it just seems like an up hill battle for some unknown reason. This class makes more since than just about any other. Now as far as the Surveys go.....I am not sure how anyone would even know that a survey is being conducted. I knew about it from this web site and even had a hard time locating the survey sheets. Most of the shooters I talked with were not even aware of the survey. I can remember a survey taken a few years back and you werenotified at registration of the survey. It just looks to me like the powers to be don't want a successful turn out on this issue. JMHO

What seems to be the problem? Anyone in HC should have their vote counted for this survey concerning their possible new class. I'm surprised at EJ, you are being very opinionated on a subject that you should really be listening toand coming up with a solution when the survey is completed. If you just sit back and listen you'll be surprised at that most people are reasonable when you truly listen to them. As for the Senior Hunter Class I will not be there for a while but it would sure be nice to know it's there when I'm ready. I did not sign the survey because I just didn't see it, but I will in Nelsonville and maybe we will have the class we asked for and you will get your novice class you wanted. I hope this turns out because I think you would see three classes be very successful ( MHC,SHC,HC)with out hurting the rest. I would like for everyone shooting in or are going to be shooting in these clases to vote at Nelsonville. If we don't vote we will not be heard.See ya in Nelsonville.

lets see if i understand this, i shoot in the hc and could shoot in the mhc or the shc but because i'am not currently in that class i'am not aloud to vote. the hc class should be the same yardage no matter what age bracket your in and the money would encourage the better shooters to move up but you don't want this. explain what you really want.
