Nice find...
I found two Megalodon teeth myself --- right on the shoreline at Calvert Cliffs --- I donated them (and my fossil whale collection) to the Maryland Aquarium in Baltimore City. Calvert Cliffs used to be a baby whale breeding ground there during the Early Miocene Age into the Pliocene. The 50 foot long Megalodons and 50' crocodiles would prey on the baby whales. I would love to have witnessed any turf battles between the crocs and Megalodon sharks.
The best time to hunt for Megalodon teeth on the shoreline at Calvert Cliffs (only three places on Earth like that) is just after a storm. The wave action and tides propel the sharks teeth on the storm battered shoreline --- But you have to be quick...because the Megalodon teeth slice themselves quickly through the sand an shells till they disappear underground.
I do LOVE all of the shark species --- not to mention the crocs.

its usually just a small piece sticking up in a shell/ rocky pieced area. Some will use those underwater scooters to blow away the top layer of sand and expose more of what's underneath.
