Question Why are there so many "unboxing" videos

on YouTube for guns and other new products?
Who wants to see the damn thing coming out of the carton?
I just want to see how the thing shoots or otherwise looks and functions.

Apparently because people watch them. Otherwise nobody would waste their time making the videos

well fact is folks do watch them, some what to see what is in the box when you get something and or like reasons
and well, just look
YOU watched one at least too, RIGHT ?? Lol
on a side note this is maybe not a bad idea to video opening a box, as who here hasn't bought something that was MISSING apart in the box before??
videoing it, would sure go over a lot better than just trying to tell someone that you didn;t get "X" in the box
so, guess there is a actual reason to do so if one wanted
ME< I am not that tech savoy, nor desire to be so!

Maybe it is because the instructions on how to open the box are in the box?
