Anybody ever planted elephant garlic corums? I have a bunch that I am going to plant in a week or two in southern Missouri. I read that they do not all come up because of the hard shell and need to be planted a month or two early to give it a chance to soften. Even then only about half will germinate this year, they say. I will plant cloves later along with other garlic. Opinions?? Thanks.
